CBD, or cannabidiol, is a phytocannabinoid found in high concentrations in Hemp. There are over 100 Cannabinoids in hemp such as CBDa, CBC, CBN, & CBG.
The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is a newly discovered system in the human body discovered in 1990 by an Israeli Scientist. This system is responsible for decreasing stress, inflammation, increasing focus, and supporting healthy sleep cycles. Scientists have described the ECS system as guardians of the brain & stomach, "because most of the receptors in the body are concentrated in these two areas. CBD from hemp is one of the very few ways for humans to solve what many researchers call “cannabinoid deficiency syndrome” in our country.
The dose of CBD to start with varies from person to person and pet to pet. The best way is to start at a low dose and increase as needed. This supplement is best taken two to three times a day but even once a day is very helpful. The recommended dose is between 20-60 mg per day. In a word, yes. Several studies have been done which indicate CBD is helpful in decreasing anxiety & pain in animals.
No. Our hemp has less than 0.3% THC. They both contain cannabinoids, but CBDIntact’s hemp contains less than 0.3% THC so you can’t get high.
There has never been a documented overdose with CBD.
